Socialise is designed to help people discover new connections through text-based conversations. We focus on respectful interactions, privacy, account safety and an enjoyable user experience.

We collect information you provide when creating an account, including your name, email address, username and profile photo. We may also collect device information, crash reports and anonymous usage analytics to improve the app.

We use this information to:

• Create and manage your account.
• Enable messaging between users.
• Improve performance and reliability.
• Protect the platform from spam, abuse and fraud.

We use trusted services such as Firebase and Google Play Services where applicable.

Your information is protected using industry-standard security practices. You may delete your account and associated data from within the app.

• You must comply with all applicable laws.
• Harassment, spam, impersonation and abusive behaviour are prohibited.
• You are responsible for content you share.
• We may suspend accounts that violate our policies.
• These terms may change as the service evolves.

We aim to respond within 48 hours.

You can initiate the deletion of your account directly from the app. Deletion is processed as a soft delete with a 30-day recovery grace period.

1. Open Socialise.
2. Go to your Profile tab.
3. Tap Delete Account at the bottom of the screen.
4. Confirm the action in the prompt.

What happens next?

• Your profile, photos, and conversations are immediately deactivated and hidden from other users.
• You have a 30-day grace period to restore your account. Simply log back in at any time within 30 days to cancel the deletion and restore your profile.
• After 30 days, your account, message history, blocks, reports, profile photos, and verification videos will be permanently and irreversibly purged from our servers.
